Journalism is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information. It is also the product of these activities. From online journalism to print media, journalism is divided into two different categories:
Hard news includes politics and business. Hard news journalism refers to breaking news and up-to-the-minute news about serious, timely, or hard-hitting topics that are timely and urgent, usually based on facts and rigorous research. Political journalism, business journalism, and watchdog journalism are forms of hard news.
Soft news primarily focuses on entertainment. Soft news journalism focuses on lifestyle and entertainment and typically revolves around culture, art, and human interest events. Soft news includes sports journalism, entertainment journalism, and celebrity coverage.
Ideas are not factual, observed, documented or evaluated. So it doesn't represent an existent mass of info whether collected from real life or spontaneously even if it's original production because nothing is generated from the activity
So what is an idea (generated)?
It may be creative, i.e. a chair on top of a van
realisation, i.e. your goldfish never saw you through water so it probably doesn't move because its lonely not that it has no memory
even discovered, i.e. from trials (and errors) in unknown fields
